The Scriptures

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant and infallible in the original writings, and that they are the supreme and final authority for faith and life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Romans 10:17; Psalm 19:7-11, 119:89-91; 1 Corinthians 2:2-16; 1 Thessalonians 2:13

The One True and Living God

We believe that there is only one God, infinite in divine perfection and eternally existing in three persons. He has revealed himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, the same in essence and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the work of redemption. Isaiah 45:21-22; Matthew 28:19; John 4:24, 10:25-33, 14:23-27; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 9:14

The Origin and Fall of Man

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God to enjoy fellowship with God; but in Adam’s sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. Man is utterly void of that righteousness required by God and unable on his own to remedy his lost condition. Genesis 1:26-27, 3:1-19; Romans 3:10, 3:23, 5:8-12, 6:23; 1 Corinthians 15:22

The Savior

We believe in the deity of Christ, his preexistence, his virgin birth, his sinless life, his miracles, his substitutionary atoning death on the cross, his bodily resurrection, his ascension to the right hand of the Father, his priestly intercession for believers, and his personal return in glory and power. He accomplished our redemption through his death on the cross, and our-justification is made sure by his literal and physical resurrection from the dead. John 1: 1- 14, 8:58; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Peter 2:24; Romans 3:21-26; 1 Corinthians 15:1-11; Hebrews 7:25, 9:24; 1 John 2:1-2

The Way of Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God, brought to man by God’s grace and received by man when he turns to God in repentance and places his faith in the redemptive work of Jesus Christ. John 3:16, 14:1-11; Acts 4:12, 20:21; Romans 10:9-13; Ephesians 2:8-9; 1 Timothy 2:3-6

The Holy Spirit and the Church

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and serve Jesus Christ. The presence of the Spirit in a believer’s life encourages a relationship with others in the body of Christ which is demonstrated by participation in a local church. John 14:15-19; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19-20, 12:12-27; Colossians 3:12-15; Philippians 2:1-4; Hebrews 10:24-25

The Return of Jesus Christ and the Resurrection of the Dead

We believe in the personal, premillennial, and imminent return of Jesus Christ. He will bring about the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:12-58; Revelation 20:11-15
