What to Expect

 

Arrival

As you arrive at Grace Baptist Church there are two parking lots behind the church building. If this is your first time with us, feel free to park in the spots marked “Visitor Parking” close to the building. There is additional parking in the city lot across Edgewood Road by the baseball diamonds.

As you enter the building from the parking lot there will be greeters waiting to assist you. If you have children, you’ll want to stop by the Welcome Desk to get them checked in. The nursery is close to our auditorium.

 

Children’s Ministries

Sunday School begins at 10:00 AM with something special for every age, from birth through high school.

For the 11:00 AM Sunday worship service there is a safe, clean, and well-staffed nursery providing childcare for those 2 years of age and younger. For children 3 years old through third grade there is a fun, Bible-centered Children’s Church. Children are dismissed from the auditorium right before the preaching time. Children’s Church is staffed with friendly and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. Children second grade and above sit in the service with their parents. We offer infant and preschool childcare for every service.

 

Services

The adult Sunday School hour begins at 10:00 AM. There are several Bible-centered classes taught by seasoned teachers.

The Sunday morning worship service starts at 11:00 AM and lasts about one hour. Our church services focus on worshiping God with music and preaching. You can expect a traditional style of music and worship. We incorporate songs both old and new. Our pastor is committed to solid Bible exposition and preaches carefully and passionately.

 

Attire at Grace

There is not a dress code at Grace for members or guests. Most members dress in business or business-casual attire. We want you to feel welcome and comfortable during your time at Grace.

Please stop by the Welcome Desk in the lobby, where our helpful, friendly members can answer any questions you might have.

Connection Cards are available for you to fill out and drop in the offering plate during services or bring to the information desk in the lobby after the service. We would love to meet you and give you a special gift.
